My Art

For the past thirty five years, I have been a visual artist. I worked first as a metalsmith, designing and creating custom jewelry for my wholesale and retail clients. After 17 years, I sold my jewelry business and got back to my painting and sculpting. I have worked in many media, experimented with various techniques and have exhibited in Portland and Lake Oswego, Oregon. My paintings are also represented in private collections in France and in El Salvador. I am a past member and publicity director for LOCAL 14,  a Northwest women’s art group which presents an annual show and sale of high quality arts and crafts in Portland.   Here is a small gallery of some of my work  from my Encaustics Collection, to my Latin American Series and my French Door paintings. All pieces shown are sold, but I will be putting new work up for sale in the New Year.  This will give you an idea of the range of my work.  I love experimenting with new media and subject matter. Work shown is from present to past.

My Current works are Encaustics (Wax, resin and color pigments, an ancient technique going back to the Greeks)
